Money Smart Milwaukee is supported by the My Money Help Line Education Coalition, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2010. The mission of the Coalition is to educate people in the Milwaukee area about financial literacy and to raise the standard of living in Milwaukee by providing free or low-cost resources and information to people on how to make wiser decisions with their personal finances.

Our activities include:

  • Administration of the Money Smart Milwaukee website and My Money Help Line.
  • Participation in and coordination of Milwaukee-area events and activities for Money Smart Week® in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Wisconsin and the Office of Financial Literacy (OFL) of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions.
  • Production of a Money Smart Milwaukee Resource Guide, available in all Milwaukee Public Libraries each April duing Financial Literacy month.
